[Korra is still getting used to the whole technology thing, so trying to figure out how to contact the name that appeared on the CDC's letter to her was an... adventure, to say the least.]
[A phone call because it's quicker. He doesn't have the patience for typing anymore.]
CALLING: ANDERS
Can you meet, outside Medical? Apparently they don't have much more information than we do. ["They" meaning the instructors, to his very obvious frustration. He isn't sold on it yet; someone has to know what they brought on board.] Ghost wants us keeping people calm until they do.
I see. [ he sighs, feeling the beginnings of a headache coming on. how could something have been brought onto the ship so easily that the instructors are in the dark about it? it made no sense. ] But yes, I'll be there shortly.
One of our team, Ryan Farrow, has thoughts that we believe should be shared with the other team leads. He's sending this note to you and to other Blue leads for dispersal to other team leaders.

This is all theory, not concrete, but worth considering.
FROM: pilot@cdc.org
1. This creature or creatures should not be able to hide within the ship this effectively without help.
FROM: pilot@cdc.org
2. Considering the presence of toxins in the deceased, the physical trauma seems to be overkill.
FROM: pilot@cdc.org
3. Related to "1": someone with access to the ship had to bring whatever it was on board or be in charge of slipping it past our systems.
FROM: pilot@cdc.org
4. The book that was discovered in the ship library should not be missing pages. If it was meant to be redacted by the CDC, it should simply not be there at all.
FROM: pilot@cdc.org
Conclusion: someone is running active interference. This may not be fact, but it should be included in calculations as a potential avenue of attack against us.
I understand that things may seem... hectic, in light of recent events. I have a question I would ask, if you have the time.
As I understand it, several groups have approached the nearby Neraki clan. Between that, the encounters we had en route to the rendezvous point, and any the groups out surveying the planet may have had, I hoped we might be able to gather information about them and share that information with as many as possible. Information that would not have been included in the primers that we were given prior to arriving here, about beliefs, customs, and other such things.
The hope in such an effort would be to share the information we have gathered, to ease communication with the Neraki in the future. And prevent any unnecessary conflict. [He hesitates, then adds.] I fear there will be enough in the future, without anything additional that carelessness would cause.
However before I approached the general recruits with this, I thought I would ask if you had any instructions or words of advice, or if there are any others who I should speak to beforehand.
[ Hectic might be putting it lightly. Nevertheless, Hope listens to the message and responds not long after. ]
FROM: estheim.hope@cdc.org
In response to the message you left me, I think your suggestion would be beneficial and helpful toward our understanding of the clans. From what little I know already even our groups that approached the same clan experienced a different welcoming each time.
FROM: estheim.hope@cdc.org
That said, I have no instructions for you unless you'd like to seek a second opinion from the other leads or Ghost. Otherwise, some advice; I would suggest that the information be compiled into a single document separated by clan and made available for download by recruits.

I've got reason to believe Mothership may have her hands full for a bit.
Nothing to be alarmed about, we're not under attack but I'm thinking we should pick up a few extra shifts to make sure the rover is manned at all times.
Ghost is offline as well. [ Which means they'll be on their own on two fronts. Thankfully, they had the other leads to fall back on for support with Blue. ] Things are going a lot more quickly than I figured.
FROM: estheim.hope@cdc.org
I'll be over there soon.
FROM: estheim.hope@cdc.org
And yes, good morning to you too.

As time isn't on our side for a more detailed count. We're trying to stress that everyone takes a way to filter clean water, cover for our faces, medical supplies, weapons and food into consideration with their equipment along with any extras they might have.
FROM: estheim.hope@cdc.org
If you could pass this along to those you know then it would be extremely helpful.

Once we're plantside [ If it was even a planet waiting for them. ] then I am hoping we'll be able to create a communal pool of resources. Assuming, of course, conditions are in our favor when we drop.

Annie Leonhart is also currently looking for supplies for making make-shift filters; plastic containers, cotton clothing, coffee filters if you would like to assist her.
